Students who are performing a NYSSMA solo will benefit from extra coaching with a private teacher.
I offer packages of 4 or 8 lessons to help you prepare. In addition to help with your solo piece,
we will listen to and watch performances of the piece, practice the solo with accompaniment,
record you playing, as well as strategies to help with scales, sight reading, and performance anxiety.
You are expected to have practiced your solo before our first meeting! I can help you with
how and what to practice, but it is your responsibility to learn the music ahead of time.
